A man was taken into custody from a central valley apartment complex after police say he shot through a window from the inside of a unit.

Metro Police responded to an apartment complex on the 900 block of East Twain Avenue, near Cambridge Street, around 9:30 a.m., Metro Lt. Jeff Goodwin said. The man was uncooperative with police, prompting Metro’s SWAT team to barricade the residence.

The man was taken into custody at 2:20 p.m., Goodwin said. No injuries were reported from the shooting.
