A man was arrested in connection with a weekend shooting at a wedding reception in Pahrump that left two people wounded, according to the Nye County Sheriff's Office.
Angel Meraz-Salcido, 49, is accused of shooting one person in the face and another in the foot, officials said Tuesday.
He was booked and facing counts of attempted murder, battery with a deadly weapon with substantial bodily harm, aim and discharge of a firearm at a person, child abuse and neglect and mayhem, officials said.
Deputies responded a little before midnight Saturday to the shooting, officials said. The people wounded were "responsive" and treated at a hospital.
