A Cessna airplane made a hard landing at McCarran International Airport today, according to an airport spokeswoman.

The sole occupant was not injured and there was no fire, spokeswoman Christine Crews said.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to runway 25-L at 4:17 p.m., according to officials.

The plane's gear collapsed while landing, Crews said. The runway was shut down while for the aircraft to be moved.
