Henderson Officer Injured in Accident

A Henderson Police motorcycle officer suffered minor injuries in a crash with a vehicle at the intersection of Green Valley Parkway and Ramrod Avenue this afternoon, police spokesman officer Scott Williams said.

First responders were dispatched to the scene about 4 p.m., Williams said. The driver of the vehicle involved was the one who called 911.

The officer was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, Williams said.

The intersection was expected to be shut down until about 7:30 p.m., Williams said.
