An intoxicated man who was asked to leave a Henderson bar after causing a disturbance is accused of firing shots into the building, according to police.

Some six shots were fired into the PKWY Tavern, 445 Marks St., about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, Henderson Police said. A number of people were inside, but nobody was injured, police said.

Bryce Brewer, 23, of Las Vegas was arrested without incident at his home about 5 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Police said they recovered a handgun they believe was used in the shooting.

Brewer was being held at the Henderson Detention Center on six counts of discharging a gun into an occupied structure and six counts of assault with a deadly weapon, police said.

“The shooting is believed to have stemmed from Brewer being asked to leave after causing a disturbance due to his intoxication,” police said in a statement.
