CARSON CITY — A 74-year-old prison inmate from Clark County convicted of attempted sexual assault on a minor has died at a medical facility, according to the state Department of Corrections.
Francisco J. Serrato died Sunday in Carson City, officials said. He was serving a term of six to 20 years for attempted sexual assault of a minor under 16 years old and other counts.
No cause of death was given, but an autopsy was scheduled, officials said.
Serrato has been in prison since May 2010.
