Metro Police SWAT units were responding to two separate barricade incidents Wednesday night.
Officers were called about 8:15 p.m. to a domestic disturbance at an apartment complex in the 3000 block of Nellis Boulevard, near Vegas Valley Drive, police said. A man was refusing to exit a unit, and several other units were being evacuated.
Shortly before 9 p.m., a man Metro detectives were trying to arrest in the 9000 block of Echelon Point Drive, near Deer Springs Way and Fort Apache Road, was refusing to come out of a house, police said. Officers were evacuating at least one home.
Roads in the area were shut down, police said.
Further details on either incident were not immediately available.
