A woman was found shot to death in the parking lot of a central valley shopping center Sunday night, according to Metro Police.
People found a woman dead with a gunshot wound to the back of the head about 8:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of East Flamingo Road, near Maryland Parkway, police said.
The victim, in her 20s, was seen on surveillance video shopping at a Dollar Tree store prior to the shooting, police said. Investigators don’t believe there was a robbery, because the woman still had her purse, wallet and phone, police said.
Police said they planned to review other surveillance video from surrounding businesses. No suspects have been identified, police said.
