In its opening playoff game, Arbor View picked up right where it left off in the regular season.

The Northwest division champion Aggies torched Spring Valley 56-12 to advance to the Sunset regional semifinals. Arbor View was led by a run game featuring seniors Deago Stubbs, Jaquari Hannie and Jesse Triplett.

All three of them found the end zone, with Hannie also catching a touchdown pass from Dillon Cowan. Logan Bollinger also threw for a touchdown, finding Kyle Graham.

The Aggies racked up 420 total yards to the Grizzlies’ 95 total yards. They’re expecting a more competitive matchup next Thursday against rival Legacy, which tested Arbor View in a 28-14 loss last month.

“We’re going to have to get after it on a short week,” Arbor View coach Dan Barnson said. “The game a couple weeks ago was a close one. It’s truly anyone’s game.”
