From industrial rock to folk hits and funk jams to pop ballads, there’s plenty of music on tap for the next few days … and dancers in light suits, too. Explore your weekend entertainment options right here.

NINE INCH NAILS Just in time for Halloween, NIN frontman Trent Reznor and his frequent collaborator Atticus Ross recently released a creepy cover of the theme from John Carpenter’s iconic 1978 horror pic “Halloween.” Carpenter’s unorthodox tour lands at the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel next weekend on Oct. 29, but Reznor and company play the same venue Friday night, still going strong after kickstarting the Nine Inch Nails live show for festival season. STEPHEN STILLS & JUDY COLLINS Just shy of 50 years since the release of “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” ’60s and ’70s folk-rock icons Stephen Stills (who wrote that collection of short songs from Crosby, Stills & Nash’s debut album) and Judy Collins have embarked on their first tour onstage together in conjunction with their collaborative album “Everybody Knows.” Their Saturday stop at the Smith Center’s Reynolds Hall promises to go down as one of our performing arts center’s most legendary concerts. OLD SCHOOL PARTY JAM What time is it? Time to party at the Orleans Arena Saturday night when the always-funky Morris Day & The Time lead the way through a multi-era, multi-genre dance fest. Classic hip-hop, R&B and pop will be well represented with Club Nouveau, Midnight Star, Jalil and Exstasy of Whodini, Money B and Young Hump of Digital Underground, the Sugar Hill Gang, the Furious Five featuring Melle Mel and Scorpio, the Dazz Band and JJ Fad. TEGAN AND SARA The Canadian twin sisters have sold more than 1 million records, won three Juno Awards and notched a Grammy nomination in their storied indie-pop career, and their recent albums “Heartthrob” and “Love You to Death” have offered their biggest hits. But Tegan and Sara are taking it back to 2007 with this show at the Pearl, playing breakthrough record “The Con” to celebrate its 10th birthday. Oct. 21, info at palms.com.

ILUMINATE “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel called iLuminate “one of the best acts you can possibly see live,” and Sunday night is your chance when the technologically magical dance crew turns out the lights and shines at the Reynolds Center. The show incorporates dancers of all genres, from ballet and jazz to hip hop and B-boying, electrified by glow-in-the-dark suits controlled by wireless lighting systems choreographed to the music and dance. Oct. 22, info at thesmithcenter.com.
