Ray Brewer and Case Keefer recap all the action from rivalry week, and spend extra time looking ahead to a few of the evenly-matched games in week 9.

Sagan Gronauer rushed for four touchdowns tonight in the Faith Lutheran High football team’s 36-20 win against Centennial, giving the Crusaders a five-game winning streak to the close the regular season.

After losing its Northwest League opener Sept. 15 to Arbor View, the Crusaders have won out to earn the league’s No. 2 seed in the playoffs. The rest of the league finishes the regular season next week; Faith Lutheran has a bye.

“We moved the ball early and did a real good job in the run game,” Faith Lutheran coach Vernon Fox said. “It was one of our best running games, overall.”

Gronauer also had a touchdown pass to Peyton Thornton. Faith Lutheran will host the Southwest League’s No. 3 seed in two weeks in the Sunset Regional.
