A man was injured in a house fire this morning, Henderson Fire Department spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said.
The fire was reported about 9:40 a.m. on Box Elder Way, near Van Wagenen Street and Pacific Avenue, Richards said.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the house, and a man walked out of the home, Richards said. He was taken to University Medical Center with undisclosed injuries, Richards said.
Firefighters also resuscitated two cats found in the house, Richards said.
