Arbor View beats Cimarron-Memorial to cap undefeated regular season

Niles Scafati had an interception return for a touchdown today for the Arbor View High football team in a 35-0 victory against Cimarron-Memorial.

Arbor View limited Cimarron to 56 yards in finishing with a 9-0 regular season record for the third time since 2012 and their third straight Northwest League championship.

“That’s pretty cool. We are proud of that,” Arbor View coach Dan Barnson said of the undefeated season.

Deago Stubbs carried the ball six times for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and Kyle Graham rushed for 34 yards and a score.

Logan Bollinger completed both of his passing attempts to Greg Welchman, including one for a 10-yard touchdown. Jaquari Hannie carried the ball six times for 94 yards.

Arbor View hosts Spring Valley next week in the Sunset Regional quarterfinals.
