RENO — Police say a man attempted to kidnap a 2-year-old girl during a soccer game in a Reno park.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports an unknown man was walking the child toward the park exit when the girl's father confronted the man last week.
Reno police say the man fled after the confrontation. The child was not harmed.
Police described the man as white, tall and with brown and gray hair. He was wearing a dark gray shirt or jacket.
Reno detectives are investigating and ask that people who may have observed the man or the incident to contact police.
