A pedestrian was hit and killed by a pickup truck Thursday night while crossing Warm Springs Road in Henderson, police said.
The incident happened about 10:15 p.m. between Green Valley Parkway and Pecos Road, just east of Heavenly View Drive, Henderson Police said.
The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing and was not in a crosswalk or at an intersection, police said. The driver didn’t see him in time to stop, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical center in critical condition and later died, police said. His name was not released, pending notification of his family.
It does not appear speed or alcohol were factors in the incident, police said.
Eastbound Warm Springs Road was closed from Heavenly View to Green Valley for about three and half hours while fatal accident investigators conducted their investigation.
