Police: Gunman robs Circus Circus cashier’s cage

Metro Police are searching for a gunman they say robbed a cashier’s cage at Circus Circus early today.

The robbery occurred about 2:30 a.m. at the casino on the north Strip, dispatch logs show.

The man, whose picture was captured by surveillance cameras, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. No one was injured.

The suspect appeared to be in his 20s and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, police said. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a white and blue baseball cap, black pants and red shoes, police said.
