This one’s for the locals. Next week brings another big Vegas holiday weekend with Labor Day on Monday, September 3, meaning the Strip’s nightclubs, dayclubs and concert halls will be packed with visitors looking for one last fun summer fling. But these next three days are the right time for Las Vegans to take advantage of the valley’s various entertainment offerings with a little less tourist traffic.

RODRIGO Y GABRIELA Brooklyn Bowl remains of the music-loving local’s favorite concert destinations and this Friday show from one of the world’s most popular acoustic instrumental acts is just another reason why. August 24, info at brooklynbowl.com.

JACK WHITE Infamously reclusive musician and actor Tom Waits came out of hiding to attend Jack White’s concert last week in San Francisco. Who knows who will turn up to see the enigmatic blues rocker’s second of two shows this week at the Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea theater Friday night? August 24, info at cosmopolitanlasvegas.com.

LAS VEGAS LIGHTS VS. FRESNO FC You only have six more chances to catch a Cashman Field match during the Lights’ historic inaugural season and there’s no time like the present. Saturday night’s contest against Fresno starts at 8 p.m. and also features pre- and post-match fireworks, plus barbecue at the Zappos Tailgate Party. August 25, info at lasvegaslightsfc.com.

ABBA THE CONCERT If you’ve already seen “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again” a couple times this summer and you’re still hungry for more music, hit the Tropicana Theater Saturday for 21st Century Artists’ long-running ABBA tribute show. From “Dancing Queen” to “Waterloo,” this show will cover all the bases in celebratory fashion. August 25, info at troplv.com.

ROB ZOMBIE & MARILYN MANSON The “Twins of Evil: Second Coming” tour reunites these two controversial, genre-bending rock legends at the MGM Grand Garden Arena this weekend. The tour opener in Michigan saw Manson and Zombie covering the Beatles’ “Helter Skelter” and the appearance of at least one giant robot puppet. August 25, info at mgmgrand.com.
