Metro Police say they have arrested a man suspected of stealing packages near Summerlin Parkway and the 215 Beltway in the northwest valley.
Edson Manzano, 29, previously identified as a suspect in the case, was arrested Monday after detectives received a tip about his whereabouts, police said. He faces counts of grand larceny and felony theft, police said.
According to police, Manzano was identified as a suspect in the theft of a package taken from in front of a home on Nov. 29 and three other packages reported stolen on Thursday.
Manzano was arrested after detectives got a tip that a car he was spotted driving was in the area of West Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard, police said. They stopped the car and took Manzano into custody, police said.
