The editorial cartoon portraying President Donald Trump in a confessional and the priest saying, “ Mr. President, just say three hail mulligans” (Jan. 27 sketch pad) offended not only me but anyone with an ounce of decency.
I’m not defending our president’s morality, but I will take a public stand for Christianity. Matthew 12:36-37 says, “But I tell you that men will have to give an account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” May God have mercy on us all.
