CARSON CITY — Kacey KC has become the first female state forester and fire warden in Nevada.
The appointment was announced today by Bradley Crowell, director of the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. KC has been acting forester since April.
She has worked for the state since 2002 and has experience in forest management and natural resource conservation.
