Fri, Jun 8, 2018 (2 a.m.)

Summer arrives with full force this weekend. If you’re not checking out one of Saturday’s outdoor music festivals, sneak onto the Strip for some comedy at Treasure Island or an all-star pairing at Mandalay Bay.

JO KOY One of Vegas’ favorite comedians — he attended UNLV for a while and still has family and owns a neighborhood restaurant in town — is back on the Strip at Treasure Island Friday night. Catch Jo Koy work on material for his upcoming comedy special to be filmed in Hawaii. June 8, info at treasureisland.com.

BLINK-182 “Kings of the Weekend” is the name of a track from Blink-182’s latest album, “California.” It’s also the name of the pop-pink band’s new residency at the Pearl Theater, and it’s incredibly appropriate in describing the month of June at the Palms, where Blink will be partying nonstop, on the weekends. June 8-9, info at palms.com.

REGGAE IN THE DESERT Las Vegas’ largest annual reggae festival and celebration of all things Caribbean opens at noon Saturday at the Clark County Amphitheater in downtown Las Vegas. Besides the many arts and food vendors, this year’s fest features musical guests including Collie Buddz, Third World, Iya Terra, Kabaka Pyramid, Cocoa Tea, Mighty Diamonds and more. June 9, info at reggaeinthedesert.com.

JUNEFEST KKLZ Radio’s rock spectacular at the Sunset Station Amphitheater in Henderson brings Grammy winner (and one-time star of Strip production show “EFX”) Rick Springfield to the stage, as well as throwback acts Starship featuring Micky Thomas and Berlin featuring Terry Nunn. The party starts at 5 p.m. Saturday. June 9, info at stationcasinoslive.com.

KESHA & MACKLEMORE Her legal battles with her former producer continue but it’s not stopping Kesha from staying on her pop-star-comeback grind. Her eclectic tour with Seattle rapper Macklemore storms into Mandalay Bay Events Center Saturday night, bringing his hits “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us” and hers, from “Tik Tok” to “Praying.” June 9, info at mandalaybay.com.
