It has been such a great experience covering the Vegas Golden Knights for our readers and watching the Southern Nevada community come together to celebrate the season that we are collecting some of our best stories in a commemorative book.

"Born to Glory," a 128-page tribute book, can be ordered through Triumph Books, with shipping to start next week. The cost is $14.95.

"What a great time to be a sports fan in our city," said Ray Brewer, the Sun’s managing editor. "We take a look at how residents fell in love with their Golden Knights, revisiting the memorable games and moments in the playoff run to the Stanley Cup Final."

Early next week, the book will hit the shelves at several major local retailers, including MGM Resorts International gift shops, Barnes & Noble, Costco, Walmart, Kroger, CVS and 7-Eleven. It will also be available on Amazon and via phone at 1-800-888-4741 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Pacific time.

The Golden Knights managed the best inaugural year in major professional sports history, and the book is packed with stories and photos recounting the entire run.

"Born to Glory" helps ensure that no detail from a season for the ages will ever be forgotten.

"We can’t wait to continue celebrating this historic season with our readers," Brewer said.
