As Park MGM continues its transformation from the Monte Carlo, hundreds of employees are needed to staff the next piece of the project’s rollout.

A hiring event from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday at the Park MGM's Presidio Ballroom will seek to bring on 500 employees for Eataly, the property’s Italian marketplace. The positions — from cooks, servers, retail cashiers and more — include entry-level, supervisory and management openings.

Some applicants will be interviewed, drug tested and hired on the spot. Free parking is available for attendees. Park MGM encourages job seekers to apply in advance at mgmresortscareers.com. Applicants are also urged to bring multiple copies of their resume.

Eataly, which will open Dec. 27, is a 40,000-square-foot culinary destination that will serve as Park MGM’s main entrance. Eataly will feature al fresco dining, as well as several areas dedicated to live cooking demonstrations.

Workers could start as early as mid-to-late November.
