2 men sought after fatal shooting in valley wash

Metro Police say they are looking for two people after a man walking in a wash Tuesday was shot and died two days later at a hospital.

Officers found the wounded man about 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in a wash in the 3100 block of Mojave Road, near Desert Inn Road and McLeod Drive, police said.

Two men approached him while he was walking and one of them shot him, police said. The victim called 911 and said the men fled north through the wash, police said.

The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center but died on Thursday, police said.

Police released surveillance video of two men sought in connection with the shooting.
