Detectives are looking for a missing 2-year-old girl last seen in August with her parents, who were later located but didn’t have the child, according to North Las Vegas Police.

Officers were dispatched Aug. 25 to a home in the 4600 block of Mission Cantina Avenue in reference to the missing girl, police said. The child, Zalea Walker, was last seen with her parents, Lakeia Walker and Ricky Beasley, both 27, in North Las Vegas, police said.

Detectives placed the three missing persons’ names into a national database in an attempt to locate them, police said. On Nov. 17, Texas Department of Public Safety officers came into contact with the parents, who did not have custody of Zalea, police said.

Both said they had no knowledge of the girl’s whereabouts, police said.

Detectives hope she was left with someone in the Las Vegas Valley, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact North Las Vegas Police at 702-633-9111.
