Miles Davis had a 71-yard touchdown run tonight for the Las Vegas High football team on their first offensive play to help the Wildcats down Eldorado, 22-9.

Eldorado kicked a field goal for a quick 3-0 lead before Davis quickly erased the deficit, helping Las Vegas improve to 3-5 overall and 1-2 in the Northeast League.

Las Vegas didn’t allow Eldorado to score until the final four minutes of the game.

“Our defense was lights out,” Las Vegas coach Erick Capetillo said.

Ja’Shawn Scroggins had a 17-yard touchdown pass to Jonathan Broadhead, and Brian Batres kicked two field goals.

Las Vegas also recorded a safety.
