Today is final day to register in person to vote in Nevada midterm election

Clark County is keeping its election department open a little later today to give people time to drop off their voter registration materials by the deadline to vote in the midterm election.

People can drop off voter registration materials at 965 Trade Drive in North Las Vegas or 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today.

Prospective voters can still register online through Thursday if they have a valid ID or driver's license from the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles.

Early voting runs from Saturday to Nov. 2. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.
