The Canyon Springs High football team took Eldorado’s best punch on Friday, holding the Sundevils scoreless in the second half for a 23-7 win.

The Pioneers improved to 4-0 in the Northeast League and will face Legacy next week for the division title.

“I told them team tonight that I am still waiting for us to play a complete game,” Canyon Springs coach Gus McNair said. “If we don’t play one next week, we can easily lose. I know Legacy will be ready.”

Jayvion Pugh had a 25-yard touchdown run for Canyon Springs, Shakureon Dukes caught a touchdown pass from Xavier DeLong and Martin Blake closed the scoring with a touchdown run.
