Officers responding to reports of gunfire early this morning at a central valley apartment complex found a man dead in a vehicle, according to Metro Police.
The shooting was reported about 3 a.m. in the 4200 block of West Rochelle Avenue, near Arville Street, south of Flamingo Road.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim had just pulled up to the complex and was shot as he was getting out of the vehicle, police said. The unidentified shooter, who fire multiple rounds, fled, according to police.
