A teen was hit by a car and injured this morning while skateboarding along a street near Green Valley High School, according to Henderson Police.

The 17-year-old was riding on the shoulder of Warm Springs Road near Donner Pass Drive about 7:10 a.m. when he was hit, Officer Rodrigo Pena said. The teen was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with unknown injuries, police said.
