A teen was hit by a car and injured this morning while skateboarding along a street near Green Valley High School, according to Henderson Police.

The 17-year-old was riding on the shoulder of Warm Springs Road near Donner Pass Drive about 7:10 a.m. when he was hit, Officer Rodrigo Pena said. The teen was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with unknown injuries, police said.

The driver, who showed no signs of impairment, stayed at the scene and was cooperating with police, Pena said. The crash is under investigation, police said.
