Julian Rohan rushed seven times for 89 yards and two touchdowns tonight for the Faith Lutheran football team, leading them to a 48-7 victory against host Cimarron-Memorial in the Northwest League opener.

Faith Lutheran rattled off 40 unanswered points to close the game after the score was tied following the first quarter.

“Our defense got off the field and gave the offense the ball,” Faith Lutheran coach Vernon Fox said.

Sagan Gronauer passed for three touchdowns, finding Rohan, Keegan Bunn and Sebestian Burke for the scores.

“We spread the ball around and got some playmakers in open space,” Fox said.

Faith Lutheran (2-3) will best tested in the upcoming weeks, first next Friday against Centennial and in two weeks against defending league champion Arbor View.

“We feel our league is really strong. We have some good teams ahead of us on our schedule,” Fox said.
