I am young enough to remember when some of the folks in the South were sending poor children of color up to Hyannis Port, Mass., to the Kennedy compound to integrate their schools.
Now, 60 years later, our president is threatening to send poor Hispanic immigrants up to sophisticated sanctuary cities. I think I have seen this movie before. Will we never learn from our history?
