Silverado’s rushing attack came to play Friday night. Quarterback Brandon Tunnell rushed for over 400 yards and threw for 90 as the Skyhawks ran wild over Bonanza and picked up a 49-6 victory.

Silverado’s Jacob Mendez caught and ran for a touchdown, and teammate Aginae Cunningham had two rushing scores. Breven Palpallatoc and John Agounke each ran in a touchdown for the Skyhawks, and Sayvione Cunningham returned an interception for a score.

It was Silverado’s first victory in its first game of the season, as it takes on 2-0 Las Vegas High next week.
