Damani Wilks accounts for four touchdowns in Del Sol win

Damani Wilks passed for three touchdowns and rushed for another tonight for the Del Sol football team in a 42-14 victory against Slam Academy.

Maalik Flowers was Wilks' top target, catching three passes for 59 yards and two scores. Rich Biago carried the ball eight times for 90 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown.

Antwain Gentry led the defense with an interception return of about 20 yards for a touchdown. Sheik Fofanah added a touchdown reception.

Del Sol improves to 1-1 on the season. Slam, in its fourth year of existence, was playing its first class 3A varsity opponent.
