Does Joe Citizen on the streets of the United States have a deep sense of morality? I believe he does and is a patriot with a keen sense of right and wrong.
I also believe that many Republican senators will put party loyalty before love of country and the Constitution. Senators such as South Carolina’s Lindsey Graham and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky will prostitute their love of country to satisfy the ego of President Donald Trump in spite of his having put political gain above national security.
Joe Citizen will have his day in 2020, and we will see him vote out the people who betrayed the moral integrity of Abraham Lincoln, Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan. There is a limit to how much abuse the GOP can dump on Lady Liberty.
