Britney Spears won’t be performing as scheduled in Las Vegas, citing her father’s continuing health struggles, the pop star announced this morning.

Spears is on an “indefinite work hiatus,” putting her “Britney: Domination” residency at the Park Theater at the Park MGM on hold until further notice, the resort posted on its website.

“I don’t even know where to start with this, because this is so tough for me to say,” Spears said via Twitter. “I will not be performing my new show Domination. I’ve been looking forward to this show and seeing all of you this year, so doing this breaks my heart.”

The show was set to launch Feb. 13, with 32 performances scheduled through Aug. 17.

Spears said her father was hospitalized a couple of months ago and nearly died.

“It’s important to always put your family first,” she posted on Twitter. “We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him.”
