The Dec. 28 letter “Clearing up CO2 confusion" is very well written and very convincing. The writer is obviously scientifically educated. It would be foolish for me to debate him on the subject.
I am a scientific illiterate who is a skeptic of global warming. But I could be converted. I just need to have it explained to me why there were times of global warming before cars and smokestacks.
I accept the fact that the temperature is rising. I just don’t believe that the rise in temperature is manmade.
