Brian Greenspun’s Sunday column “Mr. Adelson, take responsibility for your newspaper” was on the mark, raising questions about Sheldon Adelson’s leadership of the Review-Journal and the dangerous editorial musings of Victor Joecks.
At Greenspun’s suggestion, I read the shocking story by the Columbia Journalism Review about the rampant sexual and racial harassment at Adelson’s newspaper. As a 40-year subscriber to both of the city’s newspapers, I am truly saddened of this state of journalistic affairs.
