A motorcyclist was gravely injured Tuesday afternoon when she crashed into a car that was turning in front of her near Summerlin, according to Metro Police.
The 48-year-old Las Vegas rider, who was on a 2018 Harley-Davidson Sportster, died at University Medical Center, police said.
The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. on Rampart Boulevard, between Canyon Run Drive and Summerlin Parkway, police said.
The motorcycle was heading south when it crashed into a 2017 Hyundai Elantra that was beginning to turn in front of it, police said. The motorist, 63, was not impaired and contributed to the investigation.
