Homicide detectives were probing the death of a man found shot during a welfare check Tuesday morning in a neighborhood near Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Road, according to Metro Police.
Officers made the discovery about 6:45 a.m. in an apartment in the 1600 block of East Rochelle Avenue, police said.
The man, who had suffered a gunshot wound, was described by Metro as a victim, though more details were not provided.
Police said a suspect hadn't been identified.
