Letter to the editor:

Cruelty comes in time for holidays

Tue, Nov 12, 2019 (2 a.m.)

It could not come at a better time: Peace on earth and goodwill toward men. The homeless people sleeping on the streets of Las Vegas will be relocated to local shelters by the Christmas elves who patrol the highways and byways of our fair city.

What could possible go wrong?

In spite of the protests against the City Council, this is strictly for their own good, though I wonder how the homeless are expected to pay the fine for noncompliance.

I am deeply saddened by our thriving city's tone deafness.

This new ordinance screams cruelty more than concern.

While Las Vegas booms, the city leaders bust the already broken.
