Jordan Smith rushed for 227 yards and four touchdowns tonight for the Centennial High football team and the Bulldogs never trailed in a hard-fought 35-27 win against visiting Legacy in the Mountain Region quarterfinals.
“He’s the real deal,” Centennial coach Dustin Forshee said of Smith.
Centennial’s other touchdown came on a long touchdown pass from Colton Tenney to Gerick Robinson, pushing the Bulldogs into the Mountain semifinals against Palo Verde. Centennial beat Palo Verde three weeks ago, 50-36.
“Our defense is fired up. They have something to prove against Palo Verde,” Forshee said.
