Marie and Donny Osmond wrap their residency at the Flamingo.

Mon, Nov 18, 2019 (10 a.m.)

Donny and Marie Osmond gave an emotional and tear-filled farewell performance at Flamingo Las Vegas to cap their 11-year-old residency Saturday night in front of a completely enamored sold-out audience that included entertainment friends like Debbie Gibson and the co-hosts of “The Talk,” Carrie Ann Inaba, Eve and Sheryl Underwood. Marie joined the hosting circle of the CBS daytime show recently, rounding out the group with Sharon Osbourne.

Flamingo Regional President Eileen Moore Johnson stepped onstage to thank and congratulate the singing siblings on their long and successful run before the final number, making it even more difficult for both of these talented legends to say goodbye. Each had special moments during the show, with Marie explaining, “Las Vegas has brought many beautiful and different things to my life, but the most beautiful thing is that it brought back my sweetheart.” She remarried first husband Steve Craig in 2011 after bumping into him in Las Vegas after many years apart. And Donny Osmond brought his 5-year-old grandson Benson onstage to celebrate the youngster’s birthday just moments before singing his tribute to mentor Andy Williams. Donny first appeared on Williams’ TV show when he was five years old.

More than 900,000 fans attended the 1,730 performances over the span of the Donny & Marie residency at the Flamingo. Tune in to this week’s Sun on the Strip podcast for more from this historic performance.
