Cameron Reese had a pair of touchdown passes today for the Moapa Valley football team in a 37-0 victory against host Sunrise Mountain.

Hayden Redd had a 61-yard touchdown run and also scored on a 15-yard reception from Reese. Austin Heiselbetz also had a touchdown reception.

Moapa Valley’s defense had five interceptions in recording the shutout, including two from Garrett Clove.

While far from the finished product Moapa Valley is striving for, the win was one of the most complete games the Pirates have played this season.

“A fumble there. A dropped pass here. We have struggled to put it together,” Moapa Valley coach Brent Lewis said. “But we are moving in the right direction.”
