Cheyenne wins homecoming game against Pahrump Valley

Majae Madison carried the ball 13 times for 250 yards and three touchdowns for the Cheyenne football team in a 36-16 victory against visiting Pahrump Valley.

Rayvion Brown had four catches for 47 yards and a touchdown, and added three 2-point conversions in helping the Desert Shields improve to 6-1 overall.

“We played well. I was pleased with a big homecoming win,” Cheyenne coach Patrick Ward said. “We have to keep working and shore up some things.”

Jason Black added six carries for 81 yards and a touchdown.
