I just watched Dr. Jeff Colyer from the National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services on Fox News Channel state that chloroquine had a long history of safety, as Vietnam veterans used it.
What he is not telling people is that there can be debilitating side effects including psychiatric problems that are often diagnosed as post-traumatic stress disorder, or brainstem damage.
The media are not warning people about the dangers involved with chloroquine and the government is silent, just as it was with veterans from Vietnam through the Gulf War.
Before anyone other than a critical patient takes chloroquine, they should read an article from the Quinism Foundation at quinism.org/press-releases/dangers-of-antimalarial-quinolines-against-covid-19 and ask questions of their doctor about the risks. The cure can be worse than the bite and the people need to be informed.
