A man suspected in a series of residential burglaries throughout Henderson was arrested earlier this month, city police announced today.

Ace Rayburn Hart would break into homes by “prying open doors, breaking glass doors, or finding an unsecured door or window,” Henderson Police said in a news release.

Police did not say how many burglaries they’re accusing Hart of perpetrating but noted that no one was injured.

Las Vegas Justice Court logs that he’s facing three different burglary cases in that jurisdiction and was out on bail at the time of the alleged crimes, which all occurred earlier this year.

The Henderson burglaries began in November, and Hart was taken into custody on Dec. 12, said police, who did not share additional details.

The 42-year-old was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on two counts each of attempted home invasion and attempted residential burglary, and one count each of first-degree arson, burglary, possession of burglary tools and a “convicted person failing to register,” police said.

A court set bail for Hart at $50,000 with the condition that he submit to house arrest, according to Henderson Justice Court logs, which doesn’t show if he’s posted bond.

An online search through the Henderson Detention Center doesn’t show him locked up there, but he appears to be in Metro Police custody.
