PAHRUMP — A judge in rural Nevada increased bail for each of four adults facing multiple felony charges in a child sex crimes prosecution involving several victims under age 14 and allegations of the making and distribution of child pornography.

Attorneys representing Eric Garcia, Vicki Bachli, Danny Hicks and Mickey Cagle did not immediately respond to messages following their clients’ arraignments Thursday before Pahrump Justice of the Peace Lisa Chamlee.

The judge scheduled a Feb. 27 preliminary hearing of evidence for the defendants, a court administrator said.

Each faces up to life in prison if convicted of sexual assault of a child.

Bail was increased to $500,000 for Garcia, who also faces lewdness with a child and pornography charges.

Bail was set at $500,000 for Bachli, $250,000 for Hicks and $200,000 for Cagle.

The defendants are being held at the Nye County Detention Center in Pahrump following their arrests Feb. 7.

Pahrump is about 60 miles (97 kilometers) west of Las Vegas.
