Sickness continues to hamper headliners in Las Vegas. After a week where Gwen Stefani (at Zappos Theater) and the Doobie Brothers (at Venetian Theatre) were forced to cancel and/or reschedule several shows due to illness, Cher (at Park Theater) missed Saturday’s show with an upper respiratory infection and Barry Manilow (at Westgate International Theater) was forced to miss his Thursday night performance. Cher should be back this Wednesday, February 26, and Manilow made it back to his stage Friday and Saturday.

Megachef Gordon Ramsay surprised some special customers at his Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Caesars Palace on Saturday. Gemma and Darryl Beck from El Dorado Hills, California, were honored as the millionth guests at the incredibly popular Strip eatery, and Ramsay presented the couple with a celebratory Beef Wellington and Champagne toast. They also received an exclusive gift bag full of Hell’s Kitchen merchandise and chef coats personally signed by Ramsay.

Big sporting events draw big sports stars. The heavyweight fight weekend saw Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce partying at Drai’s Nightclub at the Cromwell on Saturday, with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. also in attendance along with Gerald McCoy of the Carolina Panthers, Reshad Jones of the Miami Dolphins, Grady Jarrett, Roddy White and Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons, Khalil Mack of the Chicago Bears and NBA names Draymond Green and Jermaine O’Neal. Denver Broncos linebacker supreme Von Miller took a turn in the DJ booth at Tao at the Venetian on Saturday night, where the San Francisco 49ers’ Arik Amstead was in the crowd. And L.A. Chargers running back Melvin Gordon hit Mama Rabbit at Park MGM on Thursday night.

And of course the Vegas Golden Knights have been spending quite a bit of time in Las Vegas lately, including a dinner visit to Best Friend at Park MGM for Alex Tuch, Nate Schmidt, Chandler Stephenson, Shea Theodore and Brayden McNabb. Plus, Mark Stone caught “Absinthe” at Caesars Palace on Wednesday night.

Kid Rock was spotted at “Absinthe” at the Saturday late show and went backstage afterward for a pic with the Gazillionaire.

In town to perform at the Plaza downtown, comedian and host of the E Network’s reboot of “The Soup,” Jade Catta-Preta dined with a group of friends at La Cave at Wynn on Saturday night.
