Let me get this straight: A UCLA assistant professor of urban planning publishes an article in a magazine that endorsed Bernie Sanders for president in 2016, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal concludes that Sanders, should he become president, would be coming to take away people’s houses?
At the very least, the newspaper, in its Jan. 6 editorial “Private homeownership now on the progressive hit list,” is guilty of some very unsound logic. At its worst, the paper is showing extreme right-wing paranoia.
